Here I come with my blog to share my best experience ever, what I have learnt from session which I as ARTH Learner had with two best industry expert Mr. Sreejith Anujan & Mr. Arun Eapen. First of all I would like to thank my mentor Vimal Daga Sir and Preeti maam who have arranged Industry Expert Practical Demo Session on Ansible. I enjoyed these expert session a lot and learned multiple use cases.

▪️ Being in open source software for more than 24 years.

👉What is Automation ?

Automation is the technology by which a process or procedure is performed with minimal human assistance.

👉In what ways we can use automation ?

Automation not only helps IT industries but also provides benefits to virtually all of industry. Automation crosses all functions within industry from installation, integration, and maintenance to design, procurement, and management. Automation even reaches into the marketing and sales functions of these industries.

Automation involves a very broad range of technologies including robotics and expert systems, telemetry and communications, electro-optics, Cybersecurity, process measurement and control, sensors, wireless applications, systems integration, test measurement, and many, many more.

👉Why scaling is needed?

scaling is required because to handle the single point of failure. single point of failure means if there is only one controller node in our automation infrastructure and if it goes down then our automation will not work. To overcome this issue, we use scaling, where we use multiple controller nodes in our infrastructure; so even if one controller nodes goes down, the other nodes handle the automation tasks. we can create this kind of infrastructure by using Ansible Tower.

👉What is ANSIBLE ?

📃 Ansible is a configuration management system written in Python using a declarative markup language to describe configurations. It is used to automate software configuration and deployment.

👉What is Red Hat Ansible Tower ?

Ansible Tower is a web-based solution that makes Ansible even more easy to use for IT teams of all kinds. It’s designed to be the hub for all of your automation tasks.

Tower allows you to control access to who can access what, even allowing sharing of SSH credentials without someone being able to transfer those credentials. Inventory can be graphically managed or synced with a wide variety of cloud sources. It logs all of your jobs, integrates well with LDAP, and has an amazing browsable REST API. Command line tools are available for easy integration with Jenkins as well. Provisioning callbacks provide great support for auto scaling topologies.

♦️ Also I got to know :

1. We can integrate both using a Job Template, creating a different python virtual environment in our ansible cloud.

2. Ansible Tower can help to launch playbooks to run simultaneously.

3. Ansible in microservices .

4. CHATOPS — integrated slack by using ansible tower.

5. Ansible tower can also be used for GitOps functionality.

6. Credential types in ansible tower can be used for adding most clouds like oracle, Digital Ocean, IBM Cloud etc.

👉Orchestration

It is a step by step automation on which if one automation fails alternate steps can be used to save that automation.

Most important thing I got to know why right education plays important role if we get it on right time and from right person.
